Attention! Due to the size of the tires, Packages might be SEPARATED in the courier facility and not be DELIVERED on the SAME DAY, even though we do ship them together. Tracking information can be checked by logging on to the courier website with the master tracking number you will receive via email. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control.
Carlisle Smooth
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Versatile usability
OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Smooth is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden equipment.
The model ensures excellent all weather traction. The smooth tread design and the all season tire compound keep the tire's road grip in dry, wet and winter weather and enable the model to perform well throughout the year on any turf surface. The compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while lack of a tread design does not lower the tire's traction. In this manner, the tire ensures a comfortable driving experience.
The tire offers better controllability. The maximized road-to-tire contact increases the steering responsiveness to the driver's commands. The steering becomes faster and more precise in this manner and makes sure the tire correctly responds to the driver's commands. This tread pattern, or lack thereof, allows the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather.
The Smooth model offers a versatile usage. When driving on turf, the smooth tread design does not harm or damage the grass. In this manner, it can be used both on lawn mowers and on golf carts to provide an exceptional performance in all weather.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
